Did Burger King make a serious mistake with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 promotion?

Did Burger King make a serious mistake with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 promotion?

Normally, the purpose of a promotion is to improve a company's image and make it more popular. However, it seems that Burger King's promotion for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 did not have the expected effect.

But on paper, everything looks good: anyone who purchases the special menu by November 30 will receive two rewards.

First, you can get the exclusive Burger King operator skin - a serious, Burger Town shirt-wearing guy with a rather large moustache. On top of that, customers get double XP for an hour - but if they buy more than one menu, they can progress at double the rate for up to forty hours.

A fair and decent deal - but inexplicably, the promotion is not available in the US and UK, even though they are key markets. Desperate CoD fans are thus better off buying the codes for quite large sums – sellers asking between $30 and $50.

If you want to get this special operator, you could earn the price of a Burger King Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 skin on Betme in minutes. But if you're on Android, upgrade to the free Betme Pro first!
